today I go to meet,
People I haven't met,
I am anxious to greet,
Some I haven't yet.
I want to go and run,
Cuz I haven't for so long.
My foot was out for one,
thought it may have been gone.
I went yesterday,
Just to see if I could.
Went for 2 without delay,
just like I knew I would.
I am going to run for leukemia,
A friend inspired me so,
Running a triathlon in District of Columbia,
I want to not feel so old.
With a friend playing soccer
Night and day so crazy,
making me feel younger,
And really not quite so lazy.
